When I'm feeling down I can always count on Disney songs and movies to cheer me up.
Not all the movies though,
Bambi can be quite depressing when Bambi's mommy dies.
But nothing beats classic Disney songs! This medley is definitely my favourite! I can't even describe how amazing this medley is. As much as I love singing Frozen songs, classic Disney songs are always the best.
Some mornings I wake up with
Lion King's Circle of Life stuck in my head and it really is quite empowering,
you'll know what I mean when you listen to this!
I've listened to this on repeat for at least 6 times now in the past hour. #obsessed
(B if you are reading this, it is compulsory that you listen to this enough times to learn the lyrics so we can sing this together while you're driving okay? Okay.)

So this month I went to the Cats of the World photo exhibition at The Arts House! This is the second time I've gone to see the exhibition but the first time I went was many years ago now so I was really excited for it.
I believe it is an annual exhibition that goes on for about a month.
There were so many beautiful photographs of cats on exhibition and they were all up for sale! All for a good cause as the proceeds go to the
Cat Welfare Society. One day I will buy one of those beautifully framed photos! There was also an Instagram photos category, which I wasn't aware of, otherwise I would have submitted photos of Patchie. I will do that next year!
I went on a Saturday so there was a Purrzaar (Get it? Cats purr!) where a lot of local sellers participate and sell a lot of crafts and stuff which are either cat related or lifestyle related. Cat merchandises are the best! All proceeds from the sales will go to the CWS as well so it's kind of guilt-free if you happen to spend all your money buying cat merchandises, which happens sometimes. You can imagine how happy I was there, totally in my element with all those cat photographs and crafts and cat people.
I bought a little kitty key ring from a vendor called
Momshoo. Their crafts are all handmade and so adorable! So glad they sell their stuff on Etsy as well so I can easily go take a look and squeal over how cute they all are.
Of course since I was at The Arts House I didn't miss the opportunity to take an OOTD there. The building is beautiful, perfect for photo backgrounds!
I wore a kimono cardigan for the first time. I say 'cardigan' for lack of a better word. It wasn't meant to keep me warm in any way because it was a sheer, floaty material. Me being not-very-tall, I had to wear some high chunky heels so the length of the kimono wouldn't make me look short.
On the inside I wore a simply light pink spaghetti-strap top and a black bandage skirt to match the pinks and black on the kimono. I felt a little like a superhero with a cape whenever the kimono kind of fluttered behind me while I walked. But of course the modern superhero doesn't need one, after all Edna Mode said, "No capes!"
(I hope you caught that Disney reference there from The Incredibles.)
I have quite a bunch of photos I need to post on but give me some time darling they will be up.

Today is just one of those days where I think about life deeply.
Simply because sometimes I question the life that we all live in this generation.
What is the point in the lives we lead?
People all pursue one thing in life these days — money.
But when you think about it, is it all worth it?
Spending all your time working, what about doing all the things that once made us happy?
Are we all destined to lose the carefree-ness we were born with? As time passes and as we grow up?
I understand that money is important to survive.
But.. What's the point in surviving but not living?
If I could I'd want to be one of those people who live in a house in a town in the mountains of Switzerland or Australia, own a duck pond and have lots of ducks, where a horse would be my means of transportation everyday as I go to sell my duck eggs at the nearby market.
Cut off from the world, just happy living life away from the hustle and bustle.
Maybe I'll have some sheep and sell their wool too, and I'll have a sheepdog. Maybe an Old English Sheepdog. Or a Shetland. Or even a Border Collie!
And of course cats. I'll always have cats.
Sometimes I wonder if I've been born in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I might have an old soul living in me.
That's the life I want.
Maybe I'll be able to live like that when I retire.
